    • Kraan Backstage 1987Backstage - Kraan on tour 1987

Next time you attend a Kraan concert, you should notice if Jan Fride has a DVD for sale called "Backstage - Kraan on tour 1987" - a crazy and interesting production, but probably mostly for diehard fans.
Its a lowbudget DVD, not cinemascope, no 3D surround, and not for sale in any shops or online. Produced by Jan Fride.

      It contains:
      1. A 50 minutes "documentary" about tourlife with Kraan, not much music. Mostly really crazy backstage insanities reminding me of Frank Zappa's 200 motels.
      2. A 20 minutes 8 mm black& white footage of an outdoor concert (Kraan jamming) in Graaf Metternich's castle park. Graaf Metternich is the guy who provided shelter to Kraan when they lived in Wintrup. I am told that this footage is from his birthday in 1975.
      3. Some crazy backstage minutes shot after 2000.

I have made a few screenshots from the DVD that you can see here (+ a youtube clip). Perhaps I will make some more... They are not representative for the DVD, just ... crazy. If I should receive more detailed info about the DVD it will end up on that page too.

    • "Kraan" veröffentlicht glänzendes Album "Diamonds":

    • Kraan kritik: (who seems to disagree with rest of the press & fans)

    • Rumour: Ali Neander and Hellmut Hattler were so pleased with the recent tour, that they probably will do it again when possible.

Well, this counter is completely out of order and the number should probably
be multiplied with 3 or 4.
